Executive Coaching Connection
The University of Kansas Executive Coaching Connection envisions a dynamic future where leaders thrive, organizations flourish, and communities benefit. Our mission is to unlock human potential. We are committed to fostering growth, human and organizational transformation, and leadership excellence in the Kansas City Metro and beyond.
The KU Executive Coaching Connection comprises three components:
- We collaborate with the Center for Executive Coaching (CEC) to offer unique coaching training events. These three-day, on-campus seminars provide an intensive training experience, allowing participants from across the country to sharpen their coaching and leadership skills, earn a dual-branded executive coaching certificate, and build meaningful connections with like-minded professionals. Attendees value the excellent instruction as well as the opportunity to network with peers.
- The School of Professional Studies offers high-impact academic programs that align with the KU Executive Coaching Connection’s mission. These programs cover a variety of areas that provide additional pathways for your success, such as project management, organizational communications, engineering management, and more.
- Our network connects you with highly experienced KU-affiliated coaches. Whether you’re a doctoral student, university leader, city manager, or CEO, our team is well equipped to help you gain the insights needed to supercharge your success.

“The in-person experience at the KU Edwards Campus to gain my executive coaching certification from the Center for Executive Coaching and the University of Kansas was exceptional. Our cohort came away with practical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a wonderful new network of colleagues and fellow executive coaches. Working in the higher education sector, I especially appreciated the university-affiliated certification. Overall, the experience expanded my perspective and toolkit.”
