Professional Studies: Program Resources

Transfer Communities

The KU School of Professional Studies provides a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs for working professionals. Our classes allow students to balance work, family, and education. Programs like Transfer Communities can help you maintain that balance.

These communities connect students to events, programs, and unique learning opportunities. By the time they finish their associate’s degree, they're ready to begin their bachelor’s work.

As a member of a transfer community, you can expect to:

  • Establish relationships with KU faculty and staff before you start classes.
  • Develop a plan with milestones to complete your associate’s and bachelor’s degrees.
  • Join professional and social events at KU and your community college.
