Biography —
Dr. Mallory Watkins is an Adjunct criminal justice professor in the criminal justice program. She has approximately 10 years of experience in criminal justice in various areas including juvenile and adult rehabilitation, corrections, and the courts. Her research interests include juvenile crime, therapeutic interventions, evidence-based practices, criminology, juvenile and adult community rehabilitation initiatives, and others.
Mallory holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice, and a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice – Leadership. Additionally, she holds doctoral level certifications in Higher Education. Her doctoral research focused on the impact of therapeutic jurisprudence on juvenile recidivism.
Dr. Watkins is a distinguished educator and researcher in the field of criminal justice and has dedicated her career to understanding the complexities of the criminal justice system and advocating for reform. She is known for her engaging teaching style and commitment to mentoring students, preparing the next generation of criminal justice professionals.
