Biography —
Megan Harrison is a clinical research professional who focuses on research operations and program management in healthcare settings. As Clinical Research Manager, she leads a team of research professionals and oversees clinical research operations across multiple therapeutic areas. In this role, she works with her team to implement and oversee clinical research programs with an emphasis on participant safety, regulatory compliance, and data quality.
Her background includes experience in clinical trial management and research education, developed through progressive roles at academic medical centers and contract research organizations. A Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP), she has contributed to published research and maintains a particular interest in equity in clinical trials and professional development in research roles.
She is currently pursuing her Ed.D. in Healthcare Education and Leadership at Rockhurst University. She completed her M.S. in Agricultural Education, Communication, and Leadership at the University of Missouri and holds a B.A. in Psychology from Thompson Rivers University.
In her free time, Megan enjoys exploring the outdoors, where she indulges her naturalist tendencies by observing moss, interesting rocks, and unique sticks and plants. She finds joy in writing, discovering new books, and immersing herself in classical music, particularly attending live symphony performances. She cherishes time spent with family and friends.
