Myung Kang

Myung is an experienced cybersecurity professional with over 20 years in the industry, specializing in NERC CIP compliance, network security, and vulnerability assessments. He has led critical cybersecurity programs, developed secure network infrastructures, and helped organizations strengthen their compliance posture and reduce audit risks.

He holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from the University of Kansas and certifications including CISSP and Security+. His work includes published research on USB security mechanisms, and he actively contributes to the Kansas City InfoSec community as a volunteer photographer. Outside of cybersecurity, he enjoys ethical hacking in his homelab, playing bass guitar, and pursuing photography.
