Rachel Murdock, MS, LPC, LCPC, LMHC

Rachel Murdock, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, is a licensed professional counselor, educator, and owner of Beyond the Storm Behavioral Health in Jackson County, Missouri. She recently returned to the FBI’s Victim Services Division as a Supervisory Forensic Child Interview Specialist within the Child Victim Services Unit, where she previously spent more than a decade specializing in child and adolescent forensic interviewing, trauma, and victim services. Throughout her career, Rachel has conducted approximately 3,000 forensic interviews and has served as an expert witness for the United States Government in trauma-related matters. Her professional interests include forensic psychology, child abuse and exploitation, trauma-informed practice, and the impact of high-stress and trauma-exposed work on helping professionals. She enjoys bringing real-world experience into the classroom and helping students connect academic concepts to professional practice.
