Biography —
Rachel Murdock, MS, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, serves as a Supervisory Child Forensic Interview Specialist with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), where she provides leadership and expertise in child forensic interviewing and multidisciplinary response to crimes involving children. With more than 20 years of experience in the field, she has conducted nearly 3,000 forensic interviews through her work with the FBI and the Child Advocacy Center in Springfield, Missouri. Her extensive background includes specialized expertise in forensic interviewing, children's memory and suggestibility, disclosure processes, trauma responses, and the impact of adverse experiences on child development and behavior.
In addition to her work with the FBI, Rachel owns and operates Beyond the Storm Behavioral Health, LLC, where she provides mental health counseling and supervises clinicians and interns. She specializes in working with first responders, individuals experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress, and survivors of abuse, and she conducts wellness visits as part of Missouri's statutory requirements for peace officers and first responders.
