I am thrilled to contribute to the Human and Organizational Performance Effectiveness program, leveraging my extensive experience and academic background. I hold a doctorate in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Central Florida. My career spans over a decade in corporate environments, including a role as an Associate Director in Learning and Development. This position equipped me with practical skills in consulting and teaching, focusing on critical business areas such as sales training, workforce preparation, and developing underrepresented talent.
Throughout my career, I have addressed complex learning and development challenges, applying scholarly research to real-world business problems to drive meaningful performance improvements. My work emphasizes the importance of understanding the "how" and "why" in performance strategies, encouraging educators and practitioners to reconsider traditional approaches to performance improvement.
I am eager to share these insights and collaborate with peers in this course to foster a dynamic and impactful learning environment. Please feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn.
